When I think of churros, my mind goes instantly to Walt Disney World! Those are crunchy, fried, sweet snacks that are some of my favorites. That’s why I knew I had to turn my favorite chaffles into churro chaffles. Now, whenever I crave churros, I just make these!

This is one of my favorite keto chaffle recipes because it tastes sweet without actually having any sugar. Nope, this Keto Churro Chaffle Recipe won’t throw you out of ketosis!

Keto chaffles took the low-carb community by storm because they are so easy to make and taste amazing. They easily replace bread in lots of lunch and snack recipes.

You’ll need a waffle maker for it. Eash chaffle recipe is different because you’ll change what you mix into it. My churro chaffles have a different topping that makes them taste like churros.

  • Egg
  • Mozzarella CheeseShred it first. Save time and buy a bag of pre-shredded cheese. No other cheese can replace mozzarella in these chaffles.
  • Almond Flour – Use blanched almond flour for the best texture. Almond meal will make your chaffles taste grainy.
  • Sugar-Free Sweetener – I used Swerve granular sweetener. Other things that can work include Monk Fruit Sweetener or Erythritol.
  • Baking Powder
  • ButterSalted or unaltered butter make them taste the same. For nutrition reasons, I prefer to use real butter over margarine.
  • Cinnamon

Combine all ingredients for chaffle in a bowl and mix until combined well.

Use a mini waffle iron to make three chaffles. You do not want to overfill, put just enough batter in the waffle iron to cover the bottom as it will expand some.

When the third waffle is cooking, melt butter for the topping and combine the Swerve and cinnamon.
