At the height of the war, Malgus led a surprise assault on the Core World of Alderaan; though initially successful, Malgus and his forces were defeated in a concentrated Republic counterattack led by his nemesis from Korriban, future Grand Master Satele Shan.

Malgus would win lightsaber combat, but anakin would have the clear advantage in force power. It could go 50/50 in my opinion depending on circ*mstances. However in this scenario it would be very difficult for anakin to escape Malgus, he would need to fight him.

Malgus is physically superior and the better duellist. However Nihilus is far more powerful. Malgus hasn't shown that he has high enough drain resistance and due to being less powerful it is unlikely he'll handle Nihilus' drain well. Malgus would likely be extremely wounded from the first drain.
