THE world’s best nineball pool players are in Saudi Arabia for the first time ever battling for the World Pool Championship NOW.
Reigning WPA World Nineball champion Francisco Sanchez Ruiz is looking to secure back-to-back titles, while British star Jayson Shaw will be hot on his tails.
The 2018 winner Joshua Filler will go head-to-head with some of the world’s best next week[/caption]
And 128 of the world’s top cueists will battle for a share of an historic prize fund.

When is the World Pool Championship 2024?
- The World Pool Championship 2024 will start on Monday, June 3.
- It is scheduled to run for six days – concluding on Saturday, June 8.
- Matches begin at 1pm local or 11am BST.
- It will be held at the Green Halls, Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Ruiz beat Mohammad Soufi in last year’s final in Poland.
